Apostille Legalization Services

If you are planning to use U.S.-issued documents in Nepal—whether for employment, education, legal, or business purposes—it’s important to understand that Nepal is not a member of the Hague Apostille Convention. This means that apostilles are not accepted, and all documents must go through a full consular legalization process in order to be legally recognized.

Common documents requiring legalization include:

  • Corporate documents: articles of incorporation, powers of attorney, business agreements, certificates of origin.

  • Educational documents: diplomas, academic transcripts, letters of enrollment, and professional licenses.

  • Personal documents: birth and marriage certificates, police clearance certificates, affidavits, and notarized statements.
